An MTH and Weaver
Sound the collision ALARM! Dive, Dive, Drive! Ah-OOO-ah, Ah-OOO-ah.
A Williams U33C that I added a short high hood and repainted for Southern Railway.

Where did you get that sub Lee??????
I think Lee made the sub.

It's from a very bashed (shortened, etc.) Lindberg 1/72 model of a Japanese I-53 (the one that carried midget submarines on its deck) from WWII. I bought the kit years ago at a swap meet and it was too big (near five feet long) to fit anywhere on my shelves so I made the kit into this, for fun.
All these engines look GREAT!!!
GE's, "The next best thing to an ALCO!"...
Kind of wish these two had stayed partners so many years ago...
Love the sound any four cycle diesel makes...

Does anyone know who makes a good souns system accurate for the U boats? I really like that U Boat sound.
Thanks!

The Lionel Legacy models have a great sound, have you heard one?
Lionel Chicago and North Western U30C:
I've been waiting for our new arrival to post a photo here.
We obtained this Lionel U28CG (passenger model) from a friend here on the Forum. She showed up today and I just shot this photo.
Have never particularly cared for them before but this one has such a pretty face I couldn't resist!
It helps to sport my favorite road too.

It is simply the best model loco sound I have heard, period.
I have two I love the sound so much. Unfortunately, neither one will move (both have bad boards somewhere), but they both make spectacular idling sounds, and before the one burned out (the other was that way out of the box) it was spectacular at all RPMS
Hi Lee. I'd be happy to put one of your sound boards in our TMCC Santa Fe...
Here's a pair. The first two scale-wheeled MTH diesels I bought. Kicking myself because I didn't buy all three road numbers.
Mike, if that was the Legacy model, you'd have to make sure to take a picture of "The good side" since the decals were omitted from one side. Notice my pair, the right side is still missing the decals, got to get them on at some point.
Lionel U30C with the big ears over the windows. That's why this guy never will go back in the box. For such a big, beautiful brute, his ears are just tad fragile.
Here's a video of my Premier C&O U30Cs that I shot with my old cell phone back in 2010. I also have a pair of Williams Northern Pacific U33Cs, but I do not currently have any photos or videos of them.

Old Weaver U25B that has had some extensive upgrades including EOB. and a marker light treatment. The Radiophone is some of the last Bowser Cal Scale detail. I've been told the Radiophone was installed on 2500 units.
