Like a posting

At the bottom left side of a post you will see a pink heart and next to it the word "like". Just click on like and it will accept your response.

The first post which creates a topic is special, and has no like option. You can like the topic over in the box on the right side of the screen. That can be done at any time.

What's that do when you click Like?

When you like a topic or reply you click on the heart. It turns pink and a number appears. Some topics have lots of likes.

It also will send a alert to the other person that made the post that was liked. If your post is liked you will see that alert in the box located in the upper right of the screen next to your profile picture.

I didn't start using this feature until recently. But I think it's a great way of complementing someones hard work or agreeing with them 100% without saying the same thing someone else has said and continually bumping the thread.

And here I am bumping I thought you might want to know that in case you didn't already.

May be more efficient.  Less internet space than all additional post.   Also convenient.   Usually if you check "Alerts" upper right corner of your face page, you can note the number of recent "likes". Click on Alerts, accesses a list of the "likes", and who posted them.

IMO, a plus, gives you a pretty good idea of those who follow your posts.
