Hi All,

I just took delivery of a pretty-much new Mikado. I dropped it on a post-war floor layout with a  quick burn fuse and TVS (thanks OGRR team!). All in, I really like it and the remote control is great for my 5 year old and since my other engine is a 1952 F2 2344 it all seems so advanced. But here is the thing...

90% of the time it works 100% of the time. It derails about 90% of that other time when traversing 14063/O-31 switches and high speed. It is almost like it is too rough and it trips and falls.

Is this expected? As in, "duh, don't run at high speed"

It's an issue with these engines.   I have trouble with ours on fastrack 072 switches at home and Ross switches on the club layout.   Seems to have something's to do with the front truck.   Its my girlfriends and she doesn't run it a lot.  I was to lazy to ever really to try to pinpoint the issue.  It happens just enough to be annoying.  but it's common with these. There was another thread about this quite some time ago if I'm not mistaken
