Lionel $10 Cash Rebate Offer

Filled out a rebate for my LCS Sensor track & power supply just last night.

Well, as enticing it be, there's another perspective....IMHO.

 

It's kinda like coupons for cereal...

 

Or akin to the plethora of forum threads regarding escalating train prices...

 

If you've got $10 to give away so easily,....and not to the retailers who sell it, either!!!..., why not just reduce prices by $10 and make consumer folks REALLY happy???  Hello?? 

 

Cereal coupons....same thing.  We're conditioned to expect coupons for those products.  Ergo, dial in an MSRP that absorbs the perennial paradigm.

 

Blasphemy......I know.

Would a power supply and transformer work to receive the $10 rebate?  I thought they just meant rolling stock, track and basic accessories

Andrew I think as long as its a packaged item it would be included. So A ZW, Legecy control etc.  should be included. Set break up stuff would not apply.

The form says it's only for track, accessories, and rolling stock, so you may have problems trying to redeem for an engine.
