York, Smork. This year's catalog came out March 16th
Really like the Detroit 3 Railers logo. Nice job.

Bingo...
I would prefer online catalogs in .pdf format myself.

When you click on the "View 2011 volume 2 catalog" link on the Lionel home page, after the page opens, look at the bottom right corner. There is a symbol with the word "pdf" on it. Click on it. A box opens up with several options. Click on the "all pages" option, and click download.
After the file downloads, you have your very own pdf document of the catalog on your computer.
The Lionel 2012 SIGNATURE catalog is coming soon.

Someone needs to call Maxwell Smart and find out what is in the new catalog. Or was it Jim Phelps...........................

Rumors abound. It sounds like the rivet counters are gonna love trashing this one.
There is a twelve page "sneak peek" at the 2012 on the Lionel website.
Pete
Pete,
Do you have a URL? I can't find the sneak peek on the site.
Thanks
Chris
Too bad the DM&IR Yellowstone is just a re-badged EM-1.
I like the cover. I was kinda hoping for a MPC Celebration Series Blue Comet with Legacy/Cruise and RailSounds. Maybe it's hiding until release day!
Jon
The 9000 series steam looks like its a 2001 reissue with legacy and whistle smoke added.
Can't tell from the photo if all that boiler piping is casted in or hopefully added on but without that greasley valve on the front pilot working, it won't be headed my way..

Come on Lionel I want anything Legacy Lionmaster!
When are we going to see the whole catalog?
Come on Lionel I want anything Legacy Lionmaster!
Ditto that!

Me too!
The DMIR Mikado looks nice.

That may be so, but we tend to influence a lot of nice engines.
If Lionel ever reissues the C&O H-7, I'd love them to modify the details enough to make the D&RGW L-131. Lionel please consider this one.

Thanks Lionel for the sneak peek of the new catalog!
My computer is having graphics issues.
Is that Fastrack the Blue Comet is sitting on?
Thanks,
Phil
Could be the new Super O track...Ooops said too much.
While looking for Reset Codes for my Alco PA/PB, I came across manuals for new Legacy GP-9 (RockIsland, Great Northern, L&N, CN, C&O, UP, Santa Fe, NP), Legacy SD_40-2 (NW, CSX, Burlington, C&NW, MKT, Frisco) and Legacy RS-11 (unspecified).
I got a email from someone who said alot of people cant open the Lionel file.
Can anyone pull the pictures of the 2-8-8-4s with the text as well? I cant.

Looks like FasTrack to me!
Jon
The sneak peek is a pop-up and pop-ups might be blocked on your browsers.

I'm pretty pleased at what Lionel's planning in 2012! I am impressed that Lionel is bringing back the Alton Red Train and Southern Crescent (both beautiful trains), but actually surprised they would decide to bring back the Blue Comet from 2001 - I guess this means that "Limited Edition" set (saying that only 1000 will be made) from then will start to go down in value, though....
