Lionel 6466 WX. Constant whistle

I picked up a 2025 which rubs great. But the tender will not stop whistling, or at least not usually. Any tips?

Stray the relay with some electrical cleaner. It’s sticking

Take a tiny little piece of masking tape and stick it to the top of the center of the relay coil. That will allow it to let go of the metal moveable armature.

Use a pair of tweezers.
