I have a loose side rod spacer, Lionel 681 steam engine, which as I can see splines show no sign of stripping, as I rotate the wheels it grabs well on the wheel, question, which Loctite product should I use, #640 or 660. Thanks

Hi here is one of the best glues and will permanently repair it but you have to let it dry for 24 hours then put it back together! Lowes sells this and target!

Had a rim come off my 2020 I used JB Weld has been running great, just a thought Frank good luck on your fix

The 660 quick metal is a good choice. Fills gaps up to 20 thousands. Restores to a press fit and is available in small tubes. You should also use a loctite primer for fast cure.
