I'm in need of the 726-29 gear on the end of the 1946 726 motor armature. Does anyone know where I can buy 1-2? I ordered 2 from Henning's but received the 726-125 worm gear. TrainTender, S&W don't have these. Thanks for any help.

I’ve got a couple dead Berk chassis....refresh my memory, it’s been a while since I’ve messed with a 726 gear...is -29 the biggon or the littelon....isn’t one bigger than the other?....if you can get me an OD dimension, I’ll scope out what I’ve got here.....

Thanks Pat, I'll need to disassemble mine to get you dimensions but the motor is identical to the 1946 671/2020 motor except the gear on the 726 motor is smaller. I really could use a 1946 726 running motor if you have one.
I’ll take a look after supper for your gear, but I know I don’t have any 46 motors,...those chassis have no motors atall.....I’ve got later motors from 736, 681’s etc.....but no early 726 motors,....

@VWC, both of the gears I have are trashed......probably why they were stripped of just about everything.....sorry buddy, they ain’t worth a patooty....

Dennis Waldron, Just Trains, has them for $3.50 each.

If all else fails does anyone think the 2333M-14 gear might do the job???
VWC that gear is 0.175 thick and has 12 teeth no info on diameter which is important as the tunnel on the 726 frame that end of motor's armature gear goes into is small and to small for the turbines armature gear that was talked about earlier. I do know this for sure as we have several 1946 berks and several 1946 -671 Turbines.
The 726 gear your looking for is appr 0.160 thick and has 18 teeth.
Personally would get the proper gear for it.
