Lionel 7794 0-8-0 NYC switch engine and tender 

This is a nicely detailed conventional power switch engine that was included in a Lionel R-T-R set.

Similar to engine included in set 6-30156 or 6-30200.

Die-cast operating coupler on front of locomotive

Operating coupler on rear of tender

Powerful maintenance-free motor

Traction tires

Die-cast metal locomotive body and frame

Upgraded drive rod assembly

Silver metal rims on wheels

This model is not for sale. It is shown because it illustrates a low cost Lionel model for those who operate conventional engines. I like the overall detail of this engine which can be purchased for under $100 on Ebay.
