Lionel Bluetooth Radio Tower Not Transmitting

My new Lionel Bluetooth Radio Tower was working perfectly but now fails to generate the 2 flashes per second Bluetooth discovery signal. It flashes about 5 times and then stays lit. My iPhone does not, of course, discover the tower. Has anyone encountered a Bluetooth connectivity issue with this accessory? Is there any way to troubleshoot it?
