While at Charles Ro today, I observed the new Cab Forward. WOW! A few of the numbers came in. I ordered the 4294 and will have to hold out for a few more days before it comes in. One very impressive locomotive.

Wonderful news, Marty. Is the any word from the Ro people when the Fantasy Cab Forwards will make their way to Massachusetts.
My CF is on its way from Charles Ro, will be here on Monday....its a long hike to CA. I'll post some pix and maybe a video after it arrives.
*Whew* What a relief, I was ready to cringe when I opened up the link to your thread as I was expecting to see a picture of that "Daylight" abomonation version. 
Glad to see it's a picture of the version in the paint scheme it was meant to have. 
I noticed with interest that they still retained the plated "sidewalls" on the driver wheels like the 2005 release. I was expecting that it would be chemically blackened this time around to reflect them in regular service since the "whitewalls" was really for the builder's photos that Baldwin took, but I actually don't mind that; it's an easy thing to fix using a little Locomotive Black. 
Mine will be here in Arizona on Monday too! UPS says it left their center in Hodgkins, IL, yesterday, next stop Phoenix, then here. I don't know if I was lucky if this is in fact only a partial shipment. But I don't care, mine is on the way!
Brian, check with him as he has some in and I do not know what others he has at the moment. He has two others due in next week.
I just got one of mine today #4286 from Charlie Ro. Can't wait for my daylight to come. I also received 3 of the new President cars.
Mike was right on to say we would see the cab-forwards in July.

One new Lionel Legacy engine down, seven more to go.
Charles Ro expects the bulk of their fantasy CF within two weeks.
I'd be tempted, but with three Cab Forwards already (one MTH, two 3rd Rail brass), I think I'll save my money for something that doesn't overlap what I already have. It is an awesome engine, though.
Looking forward to the LionChief Plus version. 
Looking forward to receiving my "DAYLIGHT" Version to match my "DAYLIGHT" Cars!!!

The remaining Cab Forwards will not be in for awhile. John K, I have your 3 Daylite versions on the side for you! :-)

Well, if the Lionel website shipping schedule is to be believed, the Daylight CF's are due to ship in Nov 2014 (which is fine for me). Has anyone spotted the Daylight version in stores already? If so, please chime in here. The shipping schedule has admittedly never been known for its accuracy. In fact, just the opposite is true.

I was very happy with the locomotive and very happy I have one on the way. It was beautiful.

I'm thinking Empire State Express black/silver on one of them, maybe a GM&O/Alton
scheme on another.

To answer your Question: I have a Williams All Metal 16" (with Diaphrams) 8 Car Set that I will pull with the NEW Daylight Cab Forward!!!
Can't wait. I pull them with a Legacy GS2 now!!

It's not 100% clear from what we've heard thus far which CF units have actually shipped -- some of which could have been initial/partial shipments. 
So until we get more G2 from the field, here's the latest from the Lionel website as of July 30th:
- 6-11463 (CF #4291) and 6-11464 (CF #4286) are listed with a Lionel shipping ETA of September 2014
- 6-11462 (CF #4294) and 6-11465 (Daylight CF #4275) are listed with a Lionel shipping ETA of November 2014
- 6-11469 (Pilot CF) is no longer listed, which would imply Lionel has made a full shipment of this SKU to dealers/distributors.
