I have a Century Club GG1 that does not respond to commands from two different TMCC systems. I tried resetting the engine, entering the code. Nothing works. When I try to renumber the engine the lights continuously blink. Is there a bad board? Please, whenever help is appreciated.

Might be the antenna which is soldered to the rear pantograph on the Century CLUB GG1. If the antenna wire is still soldered to the pantograph maybe raising it may help.
Looks like antenna is good.
I have one as well. Got it NIB about 6 months ago, but it works fine. Assuming you have the run/prog switch correctly set, your suspicion about a bad board seems logical.

Vinny,
Are they blinking or flickering? A flickering (random) headlight indicates a poor TMCC signal. As suggested check the antenna wire inside that connects to the pantograph. Alternatively you could also have a Command Base transmitter or ground problem, or bad connection from the base to the outside rail.
Blinking lights (syncopated flashing sending a coded response) is a feature on some newer locomotives, but probably not this one, based on its age.

Just to be clear, the pantographs need to be attached to the locomotive for the TMCC to function. Due to the die-cast shell, they function as the antennas.

I tried the engine on two different layouts. Same results. I looked at the antenna. It’s soldered to the post below the pantograph. The other end goes into the board. Light blink not flickering.
