Lionel Chessie Steam Special cars?

In the most recent Lionel catalog these cars are fifty to seventh dollars more then the other passenger cars. Anyone know why? I'm sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I couldn't find anything. Please provide a link, or give me the thread title. Thank you!
