Lionel Collections Can Add Up...

I'm working on a project and putting together some Lionel checklists of similar items (Vision Line engines, Century Club Offerings, Postwar Celebration Series engines, Service Station Sets, etc.). I was working on the NS Heritage set that came out in 2012/2013, the two powered engines, the non-powered engine, the caboose and the 3-bay hopper sets and realized: if you wanted to collect the entire collection, it would have cost you over $30k to get them straight out of the catalog. That's mind-boggling, and I never had any perspective on the total cost.

For those of us with an affinity for checklists, this hobby adds up quick. 💸💸💸
