Lionel Dreyfuss electric issue 6 18027

Hi everyone,

I have the older Lionel Dreyfuss Hudson 6 18027. Chugging very intermittent. The front headlight is not working. Can this be the problem with chug no working? I hear this engine may have optics? At the same time can you please advise as how to replace the headlight bulb and which one to get.

I did try painting the loads as suggested in the instruction sheet and this did not work.

Your advice is greatly appreciated, Jerry
