Horn and bell keep not responding to Cab 1.
Did  program reset with Aux1, 8.
No code or reference in manual. Made around 1998-99.

Works for a few cycles and then stops. engine sounds ok.
Wondering if it is cab-1. Maybe weak batteries. Never experienced this electronic glitch before.
Usually a reset fixes other issues.
Tried Aux 1,0 in Run Mode.
Any ideas? Am I overlooking anything. First TMCC loco I ever saw without a battery. No room.
Also it is a die cast diesel with Pulmor and Magnatraction.
First for diecast and Magnatraction. I have an updated MPC NW-2 with ERR update that runs fine. No sound so no battery in that one.

The fact that it stops sounds like a weak signal.  The manual appears to have been printed in 1998, that probably puts this one in the LCRU or LCRU2 electronics with RS 2.5 timeframe.  I'd check the antennas first, as the diecast shell will block the signal if it's disconnected or damaged.  I'm guessing the handrails are the antenna as is common on diecast steamers, never looked inside of that one.
