I want to add a little bit of constant motion to my layout, and I am somewhat fascinated by the Lionel Gangcar.

Yes, I know that this is a "toy." But has anybody every tried to make it look a little more realistic, by replacing the three Martians with much more detailed figures, or painting it a different color?
