Lionel Hallmark Ornaments

I started collecting these ornaments when they first came out and my interest ebbed about 2008, Lately I have been trying to collect the rest via the bay. Yesterday my wife had to go to our local Hallmark store and I tagged along wanting to see the new 2013 train items. Well I was surprise to see the cr-p that  is out this year The steam engine is all plastic with no or little detail, like wise the tender. The red caboose was nice. I think there is to be a huge amount left after Christmas that will go on sale for 50-75 percent, then I might purchase a couple

The Pink loco, was special limited edition, or special, order ! for stores. (as well as Minneapols- St Louis)  The tales on the forum , some stores , had 1 , some only limited customers to 1 on order ---- No set pattern >>   irregardless;  I have 5 sets.   You want 1 !!??  email in profile

I bought both the black and pink engine this year, they are metal, the tender is plastic, like most of the past issues they made. As far as detail goes, they look pretty close to the original, the 2037 has very little detail on it anyway.
