I just got this to go with my Mikado Southern 4501 and am blown away with the detailing. Quite new to O Scale and slowly getting to know the different brands. Got some MTH Premier Cabooses as well as some K-Line which are really nice but this particular Lionel model is even better. Didn't really know what to expect as I got lucky and got it for $25 on eBay - no box but it's in great condition. I also got some Lionel that are scale size but crude in terms of detail. I know there are different price points but is there something in the model numbers that denotes a model as being more detailed, scale or deluxe. This is my second Lionel car that also comes with rotating bearing caps which is really cool. And for you with eagle eyes, it is missing one bearing cap.
