Hello Everyone, can someone tell me why when I turn the throttle of my legacy remote my older sd90-mac 2001 TMCC engine with railsounds jerks forward for a second then takes off? Once moving it's fine but it doesnt do it when going backwards. It runs fine backwards really slow and once it gets moving its fine. Is it that way in all older lionel TMCC engines? thanks for the help.

30th Street, what you may be experiencing is what has been referred to as Odyssey Lurch.  It occurs when the throttle is first applied to the locmotive after being powered up.  It think it is kind of common in some of the early locomotives with Odyssey.  Unfortunately, I do not think there is an easy fix.  Perhaps some of the others on the forum can be more helpful.  Bo
