OK, the Lionel LCS Sensor track has been out for some time now and the novelty has probably worn off. There has been many posts on how to modify the sensor for different track platforms/system.   I am curious to see how this is practically being used, and even if it being used.  If so, how often?  Or has it gone by the wayside?

Please share your experiences.

Right now my layout is down but when it was up I was using 2 of them and was planning on adding more, I already bought 3 more.  Since the High Rail App came out and gave me the ability to program them no matter where they are on the layout these are starting to become a lot of fun.  I know another forum member that has a few on his layout.

I currently have 3 Sensor Tracks planted on my layout.  I use the custom record / playback option in High Rail to make my own events that are triggered when the engines pass over the Sensor Track.   I have also been using them to add engines into the Legacy Base / Remote and bypassing the modules that come with most engines.

I am just adding 3 sensor tracks to my layout and new to this.  I have other uses already programmed for Aux 1, Aux 2, and Aux 3.  For the 1st sensor track ID,  I selected Aux 4 for the 1st one), and then added the command.  Can I use Aux 4 again for the track ID for the 2nd and 3rd sensor track, or should I select Aux 5 for the 2nd, and Aux 6 for the 3rd?  Thanks.
