Lionel Legacy 2-8-0 Steam Engines - Custom Runs

Got my preorder in for the NKP. Hope there are enough preorders of each so that everyone’s desired road name(s) makes it into production!

Thank you for doing these custom runs, I always stay tuned to your site after a catalog release to see what you’ll do. These past couple years you’ve had some fun runs from the various manufacturers.

Everyone, get your orders in so we can get these made!

I preordered the Erie version. Just taking a shot in the dark that it will be close to the prototype H21…

Steve, can you give us a progress report on orders placed and the cutoff date for placing orders, this may help those who are "on the fence" to make up their mind and place their order.

Yes, please. A progress report would be very helpful as would the suspense date.

On Mr. Muffin's 'Home' page it indicates the due date for anything in the Lionel 2021 Vol. 2 catalog is 8/21/2021.

How close will the Reading version be to the prototype? I know it won't be perfect, but I'm just wondering what they will be able to change to make it more prototypical

Don't know if you can count on any changes other than the lettering on the tender ?

Arthur - Have you heard anything from Mr. Muffin yet?

The reason I ask is because TODAY on another Post (ie. To Friends of Canadian National Steam) a gentleman implied - if I understand him correctly - that Mr. M has received enough CN pre-orders to place the order.  In fact, he ended by saying "This is the only livery that has enough orders."

I haven't heard directly from Mr. Muffin, but according to someone in the Canadian Toy Train Association, their information is that he has enough orders for the Pacific Great Eastern but no confirmation on CN ?

Would this version help boost orders for the L&N run? It was real and was a passenger station switcher. Unknown about the location.
