Took a break from the attic layout today and built this for my 6 year old son, who outgrew his Thomas set awhile back.
Was able to include some of the Thomas accessories he liked and move the Lionel trains on in, mostly stuff from my junk bin.
Thank goodness I had saved a box of O27 track and some manual switches. Amazing what a 45 watt transformer will do on a tiny layout.

Looks great Kevin. We had (still have actually) tons of the battery op Thomas trains and the blue plastic track and switches. It was a great system, made by Tomy. My son and I had a ball making different tracks and running Thomas. Percy, Diesel and the rest of the gang.

Nice but bummer... I was hoping to see Thomas and James with a "patch out" number and a sad face on the front.
