Lionel lionchief PCB question

I’ve got a question about a Lionel LionChief board. I’ve got a LionChief board that has a bad differential audio power amplifier (CE0030B). The engine doesn’t respond to a throttle setting and has no sound. It’s completely dead, does the above component also affect its ability to run and am I looking at other components being defective also?

I'd say you have bigger issues than the audio amp. The audio amp alone would just affect the sound.
