Quick notes..
1. New offset hoppers are now avbl...NYC and NKP. We are selling these individually, rather than 6 car sets. (and no, we are not selling them at retail price either) If u want a 6 car set, I'll have some pricing info in the web listings for the cars.
2, AC-2 covered hopper cars. We have gotten LNE, WM, and Pere Marquette so far. Lionel used some inferior clear glue to try to hold the interior car weights in place. The have come loose in ALL the cars we have received, and the ends and end bracing is not tacked in place, and all of those parts are loose/floating around with every car. Its taking me about 30 min per car to fix them. If you are buying them from someone who is just sending them the way they arrived from Lionel, just be prepared to do some work. The 50' box cars and Centerflow covered hopper cars also mostly have loose parts, or frames detached from the car bodies, but they have been easier to fix so far. I would love to be able to send them back to Lionel and have them fix and return them, but that will never happen. Easier to just see if i can fix them .
So far, there have been no issues with the 57' mechanical reefers, and the 3 bay offset hopper cars.
3. I have a very limited number of the Lionel 2 rail conversion kits. I'm offering them as an option (additional cost) when buying a LionScale car. I am also going to try to offer a Weaver 2 rail plastic trucks/coupler option, for less than the diecast truck price. With all the older Weaver cars we are still offering either the Weaver 2 rail plastic or diecast truck options...
4. I'm going to try to get more 2 rail trucks up for sale separately. Right now there are K-line 2 rail freight and passenger trucks, and some of the Atlas trucks.
