Obtain old style black friction tape and wrap one layer around the large black plastic wheel. I have an original 364 loader to which I applied the friction tape more than 15 years ago, and the amount of grip is still good. The old style friction tape has just the correct amount of grip to pull the belt and then release the belt as it comes around the wheel.

I used spray on belt dressing, from NAPA. It is mainley used for flat belts in farming or industry. Sprayed a small amount on a "Q" Tip and held it to the backside of the belt while under power, with the unit assembled. Of course since you have it apart you can probably do a better job without the power.

Also used it on the small rubber belt in my Saw Mill.
