I have the problem where the crane will no longer go up or down.

I do have the replacement gear.

!. Where can I find the "exploded diagram"?

2. What are the basic steps involved in the repair?

Hi Jeff,

I've attached the exploded view.

1st remove the cover and determine which gear(s) needs to be replaced, could be the small one (very common) or the large one or both! Then determine if you are going with plastic or metal gear replacements. Hennings has both and a complete metal gear assembly (if for your personal use then consider the all metal gears & axle assembly)

Success!

I got the complete gear assembly from Hennings.

Thanks to Neil, Mike, and Gunrunner John, I was able to take it apart, install the new metal gear assembly, and get it back together.

It runs great.
