Lionel NYC H16 28836 HELP PLEASE

A few thoughts that might work:

- Engineer's windshield, you can try the clear plastic that is used for windows of o-scale buildings (I know they come with the Ameri-towne kits)
- Air Reservoir: Precision Scale O might have a brass equivalent that you would need to paint and attach yourself
- Marker Lights are grain of wheat bulbs, 18V 80mA. They don't have to be direct from Lionel, you can probably find them for a good price on the internet
- Traction tires: Maybe there is an equivalent from MTH? (Hoping someone else can chime in)

I use MTH diesel traction tires for most Lionel.

The markers should be generic bulbs or LED's.

Plain plastic sheet is what I use for replacement windows.

Don't have a suggestion for the Air reservoir with piping, that one might have to be fabricated.

The markers are unique to this engine. The reference is to the lenses that project out about 1/8”. You will have to fabricate new ones with clear plastic. Or find replacement shells. Its common for them to break off.

Pete you have described the issue perfectly.  Do you have any experience in fabrication of these markers?

I thought we were talking about bulbs, but now I see, that will be a bigger issue.

This looks like something that could be 3D printed...

I had to make one. Someone crude though. I believe I used a piece of clear acrylic rod. Shaped it, then polished the end as best I could.
