I would like to bring you up to date on the replacement prewar "O" & "STD" wheel problem.  We had announced that our caster in Jermyn, Pa. had refused to run any more wheel castings for us as they were not making any money on the jobs. They were doing a lousy job as the castings were loaded with flash, fairly thick  and  they could not do the axle drilling & reaming.  We have located a new casting co. who has received all of our MEW molds, and after much examination has agreed to doing some machine work, including new ejector pins, cleaning up the molds to reduce the flash, and look into the drilling, reaming & tapping that might be required.  Best of all, the lead time will be only 2 -to 3 weeks lead time. The former Co. was 4 months.  Pricing is a little more, but hopefully a better product.  We should have our 1st Lionel Standard gauge electric wheel sets available about the end of March.   Thank you for your patience, as this has been very frustrating since we lost our original casting Co. in Phila. area.  We still have all of the former "BOWSER" wheel molds in storage. It would be nice to have all items running again.  Harry
