LIONEL ODYSSEY VS. LEGACY BERKSHIRE | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello all. This may have been covered in the past but I could not find anything after searching the forums.

Can anyone recommend the most accurately detailed Lionel NKP Berkshire? This would be for static display vs. running so the detail is most important. Looks like the Odyssey and the Legacy are close but hard to tell. Thanks for any input.

I like the 779 Berkshire. The sounds and features are a bit dated. But it looks very close to the prototype. As far as the New Legacy Berkshires being released here this month... I hear they are going to be the best ever... Whistle steam, upgraded sounds,

proper head lamps, just simply amazing.... so I had to have the 765 and the 1225!

The Kids had a blast at the Owasso train fest this year!
