As usual, full-blown retail prices.
People are buying them though. Maybe because it's on easy payments.
Easy Pay is a big help to some, I've done it on QVC many times. The cost of Lionel's higher end locomotives is prohibitive for a lot of folks and I may be falling into that category in the near future. I'm retired and all I have is SS and that isn't much and the company I worked for 33 years for was bought out by another and the new company figured out how to screw people on their retirement plans, instead of a nice monthly check they just gave you a lump sum that was way less than what you should have got. It really bites and to top it all off, my wife ended up taking a job that gave her a little more than a 50% cut in pay. Looks like I'll be going back to work as soon as I get the packing finished. So yes, Easy Pay helps a lot of people. I like Lionel, always have but I think some of the prices they ask are totally outrageous and always have been. Just my 2 pennies worth.
Full retail? Yes - because the first reaction is often "Lionel is still is business. . . ?" Now they know.
Gotta love how one train had the tender going backwards and the other had the front truck of the boxcar going around derailed.
