Lionel Pennsylvania & Western set coaches?

Check eBay and also check with hobby shops.  Many shops will break up sets, especially if you are willing to buy more than just one item out of the set.  Try calling Grzyboski's - I have bought items from set breakups from them before.

Another option would be to buy the set and sell off what you don't want on the "For Sale" section of the forum.

The coaches in that set are re molded versions of the General set coaches with a new Clerstory added. If you don't care about not having the Clerstory windows there a ton of these coaches out there. They have been made since the 50's. As far as the re older roof cars they have only been in the P& W set and a Rio Grand set a few years ago. 

Another her route may be the so called Overton cars sets made by MTH. These are again older cars without clerstories but they are out there as well.

I think Lionel could sell these cars separately because I know a few who have broken sets for these cars to run with their WBB 4-6-0 steamers.

It's the clerestory roof that makes them look right for the project.
