My good buddy that collects HO is trying to help his 90+ year old grandfather restore some of his trains. His grandfather really enjoys running

them still. He has a 1689-E steam engine, but it is missing the tender. Does anyone know what the tender number would be. We are going to try to find one for him at one of the meets we attend etc.

The tender no. is 1689T. I doubt if you would ever find one in decent condition, though.
