So after a long wait (though not nearly as long as some people wait for preorders), my Lionel PRR 4-4-0 Passenger Set, number 6-30224 arrived today. I noticed some interesting things on this set that I have to ask about.

1. How can I clean the black plastic roofs? They show every mark (including a few from either assembly or a test run

2. Anyone else's wheels out of quarter? This is not a major issue, but when one set of side rods are completely up, so are the others. I would not want to operate a real engine like this

3. The headlight has no lens! I don't know if this was an oversight or what, but I want a lens. If they do not come with the set, I will be adding one.

Pictures and video to come soon.

Is there supposed to be a lens? I can't find them on any other generals either...

Okay, thanks for the info. Then I guess this set is normal, though it may still get some sort of lens.

That's a great idea, and I think I actually have one or two laying around. Thanks!
