Hi, y'all I have they above mentioned unit. Just bought this month brand new and sealed. Set up the entire lash up ran for about an hour. Then the next day it would not move. Powers on all sounds work, can here the electronic reverse unit click but no movement. I did the factory reset, Lionel was missing four pages in the middle of the instruction manual as a side note, lol. Still nothing, any ideas before an expensive fix, this is crazy just got me all worked up. I appreciate any advice. I used #2 as the reset number after AUX1 being depressed, it honked and blinked. The four pages that were missing from the manual had those reset instructions missing, of course right. Well hope one of y'all can help me with this thanks.

That's 10+ years old, so reseating the R2LC and other connectors in the engine is probably a good first step.
Ok, do you have a link to some instructions or a how to video, lol. Thanks for the fast response. Just shocking how it just stopped.
I don't have any instructions, other than in my head.

I have this loco and it is a great runner, very reliable. In case you want to order from, Lionel, or try to download a copy, the part number is 73-4505-250. As you know, this is one of the early Legacy engines. Here are the re-set instructions from page 22 of the manual.
Put the engine in PGM mode and enter the loco ID# and press SET; Again enter the ID# and press SET; Press Aux1 and enter 2; Turn off track power and wait ten seconds. Slide the Command reverse unit switch to RUN.
Good luck!
