I need to put a new wire from the roller pickup on my PW searchlight car. I do not know where to attach it from the roller. If someone could please let me know where that wrie goes would be great.

What is the Searchlight car number?
Larry
The PW car is 3520/3620. The wire from the roller goes to the tab furthest away from the searchlight. This tab leads to the contact drum.
It is a 3620. Thank you.
Here is the service manual page for the 3620 Rotating Searchlight car, including the wiring diagram.

Please explain your essentially duplicate posts:

You posted the same inquiry about an hour apart. WHY????
Especially since you received the necessary information in both instances.
I ask because I replied to your earlier Post.
I look forward to your reply, RRAddict.
My 3520 collector/roller is doing its job bringing power to the rotating contact drum...and the armature correctly rotates same but power is non-existent from the drum to the light and vibrator. If I bring power directly to the contact spring, the lite comes on but no vibration. I have sanded/cleaned all contacts but nothing.
It’s such a simple operation but I ain’t that smart. Can you kindly provide me your expertise in figuring out why I can't get power from the armature to the contact spring and why it does not vibrate? (I have the rubber washer.)
Thank you.
