On Lionel's website, there is a list of authorized service stations. At the top of the last column is the heading, Service Station/Drop Off. Each service station has a Yes or No listed twice in this column next to their respective name. One Yes or No for Service station and one Yes or No for Drop Off.
Can someone please explain the Drop Off part ?

That usually means that they don't do repairs in house, but has someone pick them up and return.

I'm an independent, but repairs generally have to be dropped off at a storefront because that is how Lionel advertises Service Stations. I serve a few stores.
