Even if it did ship last week, it would take a while to make it
through the distribution system. I suspect Charlie will tell us
when it hits his store.
According to this thread which Charlie (Nassau Hobbies) posted a few weeks ago, the set was due in NC on Nov 2nd. If accurate, it should be working its way through the Lionel distribution channel as we speak. Depending upon where you ordered it (or where you looking), you'll likely find it quicker at a dealer who receives Lionel shipments directly. Dealers receiving shipments through a distributor will typically see their new stuff a few weeks later.

The silver bells set is at Charles Ro.
and i bought it from trainworld!!! it was eligible for a $20 discount. $15 went back as tax, but it was a little over 187. it's by the layout as we speak waiting for this weekend! jeff
Thanks for the support China Train! If you need anything let me know.
I will try to take it out of the box and do a video on it today. I am excited to hear the sounds on it. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I know I was really impressed with the peanuts sounds so I am wondering if it has any cool jingles.

Ken,
I didn't realize I was doing the advertising plug but so be it. You had the lowest price and your shipping was ridicously fast. I'm happy, happy, happy. jeff
Ken:
I find the product videos you have been doing recently very useful. Keep up the good work.

Up on "The D & H Bridge Line"
Ken,
I watched the video. initially, i was hearing music and no chuff railsound. You flipped to "conventional" on the locomotive for the railsound chuff, bell, whistle. does it also do a "crew" talk? i read somewhere where it does a "Merry Christmas". Can't wait to get it out. I too love the videos. Jeff
Thanks Guys! Unfortunately this one does not have crew talk. However, I just tried to find the Merry Christmas sound and it seems that if you have the christmas songs playing and double click on the whistle button, Santa Says HO, HO, HO Merry Christmas. It's a little low because the Christmas song is playing while Santa is talking. Good find on that! Also if you press the bell button while the songs are playing you can hear the jingling of bells.
These sets have tons of sounds you have to play with them for a while to find out all of the features.
Ken,
Thanks for posting the video. Looking forwards to receiving this set which shipped from Trainworld yesterday. The kids are going to like this set.
