So with the new crop of smoking refers coming out, any word on if the issues that have been raised surrounding the originals have been improved? I would love to hear if anyone on the forum took the plunge, and if so...what do you think about them?

I really like some of the ideas that Lionel brings to market. If I had the cash, I'd buy each of them. These look very cool!
I run mainly 2 rail so it's extra work and money for me to convert these items.
We completely redid the electronics in this car. They actually have a fan-driven smoke unit now. Excited for them to ship!
