We just received the sample castings for the Lionel electric loco. sets. The new caster has done a great job. We will be cleaning, painting , baking , and assembling the rims next week. Our mfg. cost has gone up but we will be holding the price at $44.00 a set. Stephanie will list a qty. of sets tomorrow and will be sold on 1st. come basis. We will be assembling about 150 sets. The early electric sets w/ the large gear are in stock, as well as the 384 / 390 sets, and the 385 / 392 / 400 & 1835 sets in either red or black. The Lionel "O" gage red disc wheel sets will be available at the end of July. In August we will be producing for the 1st time our newest wheels for Lionel's #264 / 265 streamliners w/ the rear wheel mounting hubs and gear cast on. Harry

Will any of these fit MTH Tinplate Traditions 408E BAL motors? Are they "drop-in" sets complete with axle and gear for those of us without an arbor press?
Art,
The SMWS sets are the 4 wheels only, you would normally re-use the gears from the original set. We can supply "DROP-IN" sets w/ gears, axles, & bearings to fit both Lionel or MTH 'BUILD-A-LOCO' motors w/ quartering, if used for steam locos. Additional cost is $25.00 per motor. Harry
THANK YOU, Sir for that information!
Will these wheels work on a 402 electric? I would definitely be interested in a full set once my train budget recovers from a few recent purchases...
