I have ran into a problem with switcher motors. I have discovered not all motors are alike or the same. Shafts are different lengths and the problem is after cleaning up the armature and reinstalling it back into the motor housing, I have not been able to get it to work. It won't turn by hand and it won't move on the track even though all the wiring is correct and e unit is good. I've noticed Greenberg's manual shows thrust washers and bearings in some of them but not all. What am I missing. These should go back together and work fine but something is wrong, and I don't understand what it is. Anyone have any insight into this?
