Has anyone received their new Texas Special F3 yet. I received what I thought was mine today. When I opened the Lionel carton labeled Texas Special to my surpise it was the Green Penns F3.

I hate when that happens. Could you tell if the carton was factory sealed? Hopefully the authorized Lionel dealer from whom you purchased the Texas Special F3 has one in a Green Pennsy F3 box.

Yes the carton was factory sealed with the scanning label showing it was a Texas Special. When I open the carton I saw the Lionel blue and orange box with a label stating Pennsylvania Signature F3. How ever below that bold print it stated Texas Special motorized A unit Legacy. When I opened the box there was the Pennsylvania F3.

Hopefully the dealers that have these will check the cartons once notified!!!!
When I called them yesterday they stated they would check the entire shipment
Especially the next one they ship me.

Balto, is this the Neil Young series? I'm waiting on my Pennsy. Hope you didn't get mine.
Was the catalog number on the label the correct one for the Texas special?
The shipping carton label was correct for Texas Special. But the lionel box label had the pennsylvania number.
