Just picked up a GP30, TMCC Odyssey. One of the best detailed engines I have. Great sound and control.

However, is there a way to turn the interior cab lights on and off using either a Legacy or Cab 1 remote? I know I can turn the head light on and off, but I have yet to read how to turn off the interior cab light. Don't even know if it is possible.

Thanks

Ray

DaveP,

Thanks for the reply. I have a Legacy remote. Just tried the Aux2/Brake. Only the headlights went out, not the cab interior lights.

Does the feature you suggested, Aux2/Brake, only work with a Cab1?

Are there other options, not listed in the Lionel operating manual, that would provide other features in operating TMCC engines?

Note to: Suzukovich, did you get that option to work on your engine?

Very few TMCC locomotives have separate cab light controls.  Some Legacy models use the R4LC smoke output to control cab lights.  Try the smoke on/off key sequence, since it has an AC regulator, it doesn't use the R2LC smoke output.

I'm guessing you can't control them from the remote.  I have a little board that I use in diesels that gives me Rule-17 lighting and cab light control...
