Help!!!!
Does anyone have a wiring diagram (and/or instructions) for connecting a Lionel 610-1150-200 vertical smart smoke unit to operate with an ERR Cruise Commander M, AC regulator and reed switch. I have a diagram for a regular (horizontal) smart smoke unit/AC regulator but the 4+2 pins on the vertical unit don't match the 5+2 pins on the regular unit.
Any assistance much appreciated.

I'll see what I can find, but I would personally just give ERR a call. They'll be glad to help you, and did the same for me when I had questions regarding the compatibility of their Cruise Commander with wireless tethers. Ken even created a special diagram just for my project with the slight changes I would have to make to the wiring. They're a class act.

Can you tell us more about the locomotive you're upgrading and where you got the smoke unit? I looked it up on Lionel's parts page while trying to find a diagram and they have it listed as a Vision / LEGACY item. That might explain why the connections are different - TMCC and LEGACY are different systems and as far as I know ERR's products are only meant for TMCC components.
You might also get more informative responses by posting this thread in the TMCC / LEGACY sub-forum. The real tech gurus have walked me through a lot there.
