I tried it out using my new 0-6-0T Bethlehem Steel #76. (SKU 2032030) It is actually fun...can be frustrating, but, overall, adds another dimension to 'play value.' At times it acts like Alexa...dumb, but mostly it understands after a few attempts. There is a delay between speaking a command and execution...I had a near calamity when I told it to go to "medium speed."... It really takes off. What I'm looking forward to is the next visit from my 9 yr. old grandson...that should be fun... I suspect Lionel will keep developing the app, etc, as time goes on because I do not think it will be relegated to the dustbin of good ideas that were not so good. Hopefully the next version will significantly reduce the lag between speaking a command and execution...By the way, that is one sweet little engine. For $200 you can't come close with any other engine. The only feature it lacks is whistle steam...amazing. By the way, before posting I did search to see if the same topic was previously posted...didn't find one. If it exists please advise and I'll move this post.
