I am trying to set up a Lionel WiFi Camera Caboose and following the directions on an Apple Device the device does not see the WiFi Signal for the caboose. I press the reset button on the caboose and I see the device searching for a WiFi Signal but does not find the caboose. Both my MAC Mini and my Windows PC have the slot that you slide the CD into but it is a mini CD and neither PC will accept or see the CD. HELP!!!

I first apply power to the caboose, and then select the Lionel Wifi SSID in my iPad's settings. The SSID is over 20 characters and begins with CM446B6. It sometimes takes a minute before my iPad sees the caboose's wifi. After connecting to the caboose within the iPad wifi setting, I switch to the Lionel wireless app, and touch the connect icon. It's been flawless for me.

My iPhone nor one iPad are not seeing the WiFi Signal is there any way to check to see if the WiFI is working? I press the reset button and still nothing is happening!
Any wireless device, including a laptop, should see the SSID. It's been a few years, but I don't recall any severe issues finding the Lionel SSID, nor do I remember hitting the reset button. It does take a minute or so before the SSID appears, but once the beacon starts, I've never had it fail. It works on several iPhones and old and new iPad, so perhaps I've been lucky.
Good luck,
Dennis
