Don - I believe these are new Legacy versions. The ad is for the ZWL+Legacy. The UP has a completely different paint scheme and the B&O is a different version drawing than the original. I did not look to see if the AA units are different.
the ads are computer generated pictures and not exact photos, Lionel catalog ads have reflected this in the past. eg the new Legacy NYC DD-35's in the catalogs are Black with the lightning scheme, they were actually produced in NYC gray with the lightning scheme. And i kike them that way too.This just an observation and Iam not bashing anyone!! Happy Railroading!!!-Don Klose
The 4-12-2 did have a curiously new paint scheme, but the EM-1 looked like a straight photoshop from the 2000 catalog. We'll see when the catalog comes out.
The last issue that I received of O Gauge Magazine is #255 February/March 2012. The mention of Issue #265 is a wrong number. So what issue shows the add that mentions the yet to come ZW-L? which is currently due in June/July?
