Hi everyone,

I bought my Lionmaster 2 years ago and posted on here a few times about problems with sound amongst other things. It was fixed for a while but after another sound problem it was relegated to "under the layout" for the last 9 months.

I "re discovered " it the other day and decided on a full strip down of the tender, every single wire uncurled and checked, every plug and board unplugged + speaker wires replaced and resldered.I also double checked the infra red alignment.

I now have excellent operation under TMCC with All sounds working perfectly. Its also ok in conventional.

However the rear coupler keeps firing for no reason - I don't hear any sound it just opens. Could this be a s simple as a weak spring or a short/spark causing it to fire? I am tempted to seal it shut but wanted an opinion before doing so.

Thanks

MIKE
