I recently purchased a Lionel Liomnmaster 4-6-4 Hudson.  I run in the "conventional mode" as we continue to build and "experiment" with our layout.  While running, I have experienced the marker lights going out, especially while blowing the whistle on our Lionel transformer.  Also, the locomotive has a "little wiggle" while going down the track, but nothing erratic.  Overall, it runs great, and sounds great....  Anyone have one of these and experienced any of this?  Sorry for the silly questions, but this is all new to me.  Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Galen

Sir, I am a "rookie" here, only becoming a member last week!  I have messed around in O Gauge a little, but this is my first "big push" into it.  I found the Hudson on E-bay about 5 days ago, and recieved it yesterday.  This is my first "True" Lionel locomotive, since I own mostly MTH.  I have a couple of K-Line "Semi scale" Hudsons, as well as MTH ones.  I have wanted one of these for a long time!

As for the train show, I have had "hit or miss" results at them.  I am sure someone will be able to answer your question directly, and hopefully give me a solution to my minor problems as well!

Good Luck, and I hope you find one...they are great!

I purchased mine back in 2007.  I run it at least once a year.  I have not had

any problems with this beauty of a steam engine.  In my opinion Lionel hit a home

run with this line of motive power.  I have five LioneMaster engines.  The four diesel

engines have never given me a problem.

My advice to anyone looking for the LionMaster Hudson would be to check out the

Hobby Shops on this Forum , local train meets, and the buy section here on the forum.   I purchased my LionMaster Hudson from Island Trains located in New York City.  Do not know if they are still around. I paid somewhere around $475.00.

Many thanks,

Billy C
