Billie, try this.

Mr. Mike Wolf.

President of MTH trains

Columbia MD

Model train capital of the world.

Mr, Wolf,  I hope I find you having a good day.  I am sending this open letter to you to ask your thoughts on a very unique engine never done before from any importers in the model railroad business.  The engine I am referring to is a small engine but often worked by many model railroaders . The wonderous engine I am writing about is the 0-5-0, otherwise KNOW AS THE HAND OF GOD. It comes in all road names and is the most often used by all older engineers.

Please keep this engine in your thoughts for your next great catalog.

Billie

If that does not work buy him a hot dog at York.

Perhaps you should use the proper thread and get in line here - https://ogrforum.com/t...14#71397233865171914

It has been pointless to request items year after year but since the link above was a new dedicated MTH thread, I am giving it my last attempts at helping MTH sales.

Generally not much or possibly anything has evolved from requests looking back many years now. It appears, like other marketers, MTH is directed to market what the overseas suppliers can logistically make available at a certain time. When you request something, keep in mind how much of a minimum production run would support people buying it? Generally not many. It has to be enough to make a profit.

As someone who is a big fan of MTH I see the catalog and see some things that look amazing but I don't need.  I am not as involved as I once was as my kids are getting older and I just don't have as much time to dedicate to this wonderful hobby as I once had.    I enjoy anything LIRR.  I have purchased what I personally enjoy from the LIRR road name.  Sure there are some items I like but I don't love.  Cost is also becoming an issue.  If MTH were to make more options for me who is now a casual hobbyist I would certainly be interested more and possibly buy more.  In all honesty there hasn't been much to make me "need" that or "want" this. My interest is still there just not the time or bank account.   One item I wish is to have some sort of intermodal crane or loading and unloading accessory for my fleet of intermodal rolling stock.  I know that's a tall order.

I am not disrespecting anyone's else's opinions.  One thing I have learned is everyone has there own tollerences with this hobby.
